Cameron Chittock is a well established animation director and producer working in the film and television industries around the world. Cameron’s career has spanned feature films, mini series and children’s television production.

One of Cameron’s early achievements include MEET THE FEEBLES puppet film (a Peter Jackson film), for which he designed the puppet characters and led the puppet construction team. He was awarded the New Zealand Film and Television Award for Design for this work. MEET THE FEEBLES rated with in the top ten films distributed in Australia in its first year of release.

With Hollywood backing (Lloyd Levin producer of the feature film “Hellboy“), Cameron completed a short Clay-mation film, LIFE ON BEN, which he produced and co-directed.

Cameron has been responsible for many successful television commercials over the years, using his specialised skills as a producer and director making television commercials for the New Zealand and international markets.

For a number of years Cameron held the position as design manager for the TV3 Network in New Zealand. Cameron also produced and directed a series of short model animations broadcast as part of the TV3 Saturday morning umbrella.

Cameron has worked as a scriptwriter on the cartoon series TRACEY MC BEAN for Southern Star Entertainment in Australia, A.B.C and Egmont Imagination in Denmark. The show has screened around the world including the Discovery Channel in U.S.A and the ABC in Australia where the series has rated Australia’s number one children’s show.

One of Cameron’s greatest achievements is the creation of OSCAR AND FRIENDS, a 26 x 5-minute Clay-mation series, which he directed and designed. The series was made in association with NZ on Air in New Zealand and Southern Star Entertainment. The show has screened all around the world including the ABC in Australia, ITV in U.K (where the series rated number 10 in U.K for children’s in its first year of release) and Fox in U.S.A.

Cameron’s most notable work includes the creation of the children’s TV series BOTTLE TOP BILL. A 52 x 12 minute computer animated series has been produced in Singapore which Cameron designed and directed. BOTTLE TOP BILL is a co-production between Southern Star Entertainment, ABC, EDB in Singapore and channel 5 in U.K.

His most recent work includes working as an animation director on the children’s computer animated television series ERKY PERKY for Ambience Entertainment in Sydney and CCI Entertainment in Canada. The show screens on YTV in Canada and Channel 7 in Australia.
